چکیده
This study aimed to evaluate the long-term dietary effects of dried olive pulp (OP) on production performance, fatty acid profile and health lipid indices quality characteristics produced eggs, welfare indicators laying hens. It was carried out in a commercial poultry farm using 300 Isa Brown layers at 23 weeks age. The hens were randomly equally divided six groups CON, OP2, OP3, OP4, OP5 OP6, according inclusion rate OP ration (0%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5% 6%, respectively). feeding increased percentage polyunsaturated acids (PUFA) decreased that saturated (SFA) improved PUFA SFA ratio indices, as indicated by decrease AI TI increase h/H dose-dependent way. OP-fed presented lower broken eggshells compared controls. No adverse birds’ egg traits, parameters observed but positive impact Keel Bone Damage (KBD) incidence belly plumage damage recorded. rates 6% seems be beneficial improving nutrition quality.

In this experiment, the effects of fennel and thyme extracts with and without flaxseed were investigated on performance and egg quality of Leghorn-type laying hens (Hy-Line W-36). 200 laying hens from 26 to 38 weeks of age were assigned to five dietary treatments with five replications. The treatment groups were: 1) Control (a diet without any additives); 2) control diet plus fennel (40 mg/kg f...
